These terms apply to the Milesta iOS application ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. In addition, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

The service

Milesta is a personal journaling app. All content you create belongs to you and is stored locally on your device. We provide no cloud service, no account system, and no content hosting.

Milesta Premium

• Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription: monthly (USD 1.99) or yearly (USD 19.99); local prices may vary and are shown in the App Store before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Free-tier features remain available without a subscription; your data is never held hostage — export works on every tier.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you record and for keeping backups of your data (the app provides export and automatic local backup tools).
• Do not use the app in violation of applicable law.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Because your data is stored exclusively on your device, we cannot recover data lost through device loss, deletion of the app, or failure to keep backups.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or excludes rights consumers hold under mandatory law.
